Bringing Peace Back to the ‘Burgh

The highlight of the summer concert season in Pittsburgh was not Tom Petty, Jimmy Buffet or that bald country singer.  Nope, it was Midlife Crisis headlining the Woodsburgh Summer Festival at Greentree Farm on behalf of the Spina Bifida Association of Western PA.

Over 300 people (and the Pittsburgh Pirate Parrot) made the trek for an afternoon of peace, music and square dancing.  Just like Woodstock before them, the band felt the atmosphere come alive when they looked across the muddy fields to see their fans cheering them on.  A nasty lightening storm forced them to cut the concert short but their fans prevailed and the band played late into the night.
